I think I am going to put him on the back burner and keep searching for funding. 

It services big metropolitan areas such as DC and Pittsburgh.I have found a few possibilities..I always had put this project in the back burner, b/c of the $$$.

Once when I was standing in front of him with a lying tenant telling him; "one stove burner didn't work, garbage disposal yada yada", I looked over at him and he was spinning his finger in a "hurry it up" motion.He then looked at me and asked if I had anything to say.

Then, she said the stainless steel oven stovetop was bent causing her gas burner to cook her food unevenly.  

Also, you didn't mention, but a big consideration for me when buying in our area is public water, sewer and the oil burner, which are all very common.

Ask around, I've found wood burners that would do well there for under $100, and someone's free.

Had to change out all the burners on Hvac and a brand new water heater 2500 or so total. 

Although I have not been working in the construction trades in recent years, I am a licensed home inspector, contractor, electrician, plumber, gas fitter and oil burner technician.  

If I'm building a personal residence I might pay incrementally more to get the 8-burner stove, counter depth refrigerator, hand scraped floors, etc.

@Anudeep Yapala I kind of put Kansas City on the back burner for now, so no I haven't found anything there yet.
