I have learned a ton just by giving up pointless music while driving and learning instead.

I stopped watching TV and even listening to music, replaced with BP podcasts and other audiobooks.  

One of my biggest hobbies and passions is musical theater, and I participate in community theaters all over the south bay and peninsula.

What you would really need to do if your lyrics are good is to find a music writer or writers to partner up with and put the lyrics to music.
