I recently stayed in an MTR in the South Bay area in LA and demand there is strong but price points are super high both for property values and nightly rates.

Presently, I've noticed a surge in foreclosures emerging in Tampa Bay.

Collectivly, are investors like "yah these sellers are still high on crack, just wait it it out longer" or "There plenty of 'quality' 6-8cap in the greater bay area that's up for grabs you just gotta look *here*"I feel like I'm missing something because **** is just not adding up.

I can tell you what people here have done in Bay Area to set themselves up for retirement.

I would still need to work up here in the Bay Area.

Like the title states, are there flipping opportunities in the SF Bay Area?

@Lamont Marable Not at all, I use Bay Management (https://www.baymgmtgroup.com) they are one of the big ones in the area, I think they manage more than 4K properties or something like that. 

I'm looking to submit a bit for a SFR in the Bay Area in a gated community with a HOA that I've heard have limits on rentals.

I invest in the Bay Area and Indianapolis all Class A - in all honesty should have just left it at that and not bought anything last year.
