I was going to wait until this Friday to update when it's official, but we're finally scheduled to sign the easement.

I live in a dupiex  with two units with one meter and my landlord did not pay the water bill so the water was cut off 7/7/2014 and its still off today 7/8/14 I call the health department and they didn't show up yet. what actions can I take an against my landlord.

We have a similar situation and have it in our name as they won't officially put it in the tenants name.

I will say that I am very happy to offer my opinion on structural issues, but in the cases that you need official structural analysis you should always hire and pay for a local structural engineer that will sign off on reports/improvements. 

FHA does have its hurdles since FHA appraisals evaluate the property to HUD's health and safety standards.

A lot of times those houses have to be razed because of the health hazards. 

Let me know if you know someone reasonable and has the ability to make the drawings etc for the county health department. 

(Basically means my worst case is $30k per year of health costs.)

Given what I know about the health industry, I wasn’t really going to hold that against them.
