Robert Freeborn Possible Timberland Property

@Daniel Jarvis  same way you keep thieves from stealing your copper your aircondition units.. your HVAC system your hot water heater and anything else of value when your house goes vacant.now in our area for reality.. you have to have a harvest permit and the mills before they buy the timber will check on ownership.. if it does not match or someone is some nefarious type of person unknown to the mills they wont buy the logs  simple as that.its all treble damages if caught and of course grand theft auto  IE jail time. what is more common that we saw in my day of logging is the logging companies not keeping proper track of truck slips and a few truck loads go missing.. the only way to keep that from happening is to literally stand there and count the trucks going out and pick up the truck slips.. the trucks then have to go through scales .. and you get the scale tickets without truck ticket and scale ticket mill won't pay for logs either.could there be little mom and pop mills that don't care I guess.. but not out our way we are selling logs to multi million dollar companies  Stimson  Hampton  Warehouser for the Wisconsin guys we sold a ton of logs to Menasha for expert..
