I just purchased my first investment property (single family home) in the Indianapolis area and need add an insurance agent to my team.

Hi,Need good advice-after working over 10 years as an analyst and a bit as leasing agent-What type of sales brokerage to join.

They use Lawyers, not title agents.  25% of total costs seems high.  

I live in the Northern Illinois region, specifically Lake County and I am looking for help with finding a real estate agent and also any financing advice would be greatly appreciated.

As you get ready to start investing I'd encourage you to connect with a local agent in the area that you are looking to invest and they can connect you with other professionals you'll need like a good lender, insurance person, property manager, etc...

If you are considering MFH in San Diego, hopefully (1) you are working with an astute agent who has or can address these issues.
