However, I don’t believe most Custodians or administrators would do this as your checkbook IRA LLC would stand on its own —thus that registration would generally be done by one of the managers of the LLC or an attorney or other professional if it was needed as explained by @Brian Eastman

Many of the medical professionals line up housing in advance, some 30 to 90 days out, and I want to require a deposit to hold the property until they arrive to sign the lease and move in as I am getting multiple calls for the same time frames.

The strategy has been very good to me, and I'm a fan.Separate your construction costs into soft, horizontal and vertical components - soft for city fees, professional services , and holding/financing costs ... horizontal for any site prep, public improvements, and underground work ... vertical for foundation and everything on top of it.

I assumed, being the plumber - that he would do so, he explained that we hadn't mentioned this and he'd have to 'send some guys out'. 5 months later and it turns out the waste pipe from the apartment has been draining into our crawl space as no one connected it.

A lot of syndications look for value creation through repositioning, professionalize management, etc.Looking specifically at “c” it’s hard to reposition the property if someone else owns part of the property and if you keep the PM it’s still the same management.So maybe it’s an awesome building and you’re buying a conservative yield play with the potential to recognize the “bought it right” equity on exit?
