Could I pull a @Brandon Turner and spend a year or two as a loan officer just so one of us has a W2 job?

This could be done with land, office, fractured condos, etc.

Hi Neil,I would consult an attorney, or at least read the NJ Landlord Tenant Law: http://www.nj.gov/dca/divisions/codes/offices/land...My understanding of the laws in NJ is that you cannot remove a tenant, even if the lease is up, unless you have a valid reason.

He may be interested in the property location services as well since he is a licensed agent you will just have to chat with him to see.I have had good success with Randy Rhew as a Dallas agent and Jason Otts in the Dallas OneProp office for property management.  

The seller is a mortgage loan officer who was concerned that I was only putting 5% down on a conventional residential loan.

If the bank is smaller in size I would even try to call their corporate office and track down a contact that handles the REO department.  

Office space is unique with requirements to provide TI's for new tenants.

How sad it was when my office management job got downsized!
