However my degree is in Psychology, but I've really been interested in Real Estate lately.

Especially in older homes where no angle is 90 degrees. 

As far as finance, the investing books also contain a degree of that as investing and financing go hand to hand.

I'm just not sure if it's worth my time to start out as a broker, especially if I decide later on that I'd like to pursue other areas of the real estate industry.I don't have an MBA or MRED, but am wondering if I'd need to acquire one of those degrees in order to even get my foot in the door with an entry level non-broker real estate job.

I have been taking college classes for 2 semesters and intend on going to USC/UCLA to attain a Bachelors degree by 2018-2019.

Benefits, free college (although I don't care for the idea of college, it could be nice to have a degree), the pride in wearing a uniform, etc.
