Beginner Books for Real Estate Development

I am a 21 year old college student at the University of Virginia majoring in Preprofessional Architecture. Unfortunately the architecture program is focused more on the design-thinking process and doesn't teach us about the business side of the built environment, and I don't have any more free electives to take a real estate class before I graduate. I'm interested in going into the real estate development business in New York City but would like to educate myself with general development knowledge and terminology. What is the best beginner book you would recommend for me? I am interested in development, finance, and investing. Please let me know!
