Some people may balk at buying home with a ROW ON their land, but it seems less people have an issue buying a home that has a right of way TO their land.It's fairly common to have them in Maine so provided the road is in good shape and generally out of site of the house I wouldn't be concerned.

You typically don't have the opportunity to inspect them prior to purchase, the occupants may not leave, the occupants may trash the place and steal doors, appliances, and cabinets on their way out, or you may discover it's so damaged it needs to be torn down.
