After all the Brandon Turner and David Greene books I decided to listen to them and participate. 

If they give you the green light, I would speak with a civil engineer and have them draw site plans.

David Greene explained it brilliantly on Sunday's Seeing Green BP Podcast Episode where he said that cashflow prevents us from losing a property and appreciation builds wealth. 

If they don't, you have to decide if you want to go through the trouble of finding a new rental, pushing for compensation, or just chalking it up as a minor inconvenience and move on.I didn’t include photos of the “nasty”, as I figured food dried on cabinets/oven/fridge, filthy floors, odd green substances in sink didn’t require posting..

On the plane ride over, I had the pleasure of sitting next to author William Green and we had a wonderful conversation.

The city code and property zoning allows for it and I have already discussed the initial conversion plans with the zoning department who, as long as permits are pulled and its built to code, have given the  green light to proceed verbally and via email.
