Some owners on well systems initially test and it is clear but do not perform ongoing testing and then use and drink contaminated water for years without knowing.Is there a water filtration system on the whole house for the main going in?

We are out of state so we would be interested in 2-4 units most likely but purely from an investment standpoint, as opposed to owner-operator.
