I wanted to do some digging, and discovered that there are some psychological reasons behind our often knee jerk reactions to new experiences, facts & opportunities.The thing is, these biases could stand in the way of our own investing success, as we convince ourselves to make decisions that aren’t always in our best interest.

Collection is going to be a pain. 

I thought about opening restaurants, many times, but I didn't think I had the pain threshold.When I got into real estate, I read 20 investing books and attended some of the top investing and financial conferences across the country and really buckled down.

Tenant got lots and lots of pain meds at this particular clinic.

I think the recent virus was a good indicator......in spite of a national panic and worse than a recession (in some ways) the STR market flourished in most areas.......It's all about psychology...when people are repressed or depressed, they want to get away, have some fun...And even in a recession, most people can come up with a few bucks for a weekend away...

I am going through same transition such an abrupt switch and very painful.

-Online is quick and easy but usually has fees for the tenant or landlord and cant be a pain to monitor payments.I'd love to hear what you think! 

Best I can tell, we have a good supply of majors in law, anthropology, fashion, photography, theater, philosophy, psychology, history and sociology. 

If they have to ferry down and back every day this will obviously increase the price, if for nothing the pain of doing that every day.

Paint lasts around 5 years in a rental property, so if the pain job is older than that, you really can't charge anything.
