My message is more about offering a few options as I am a licensed broker + real estate investor.

A real estate agent job may help you in this space, but getting a job with a real estate contractor will probably be better, in my opinion.

But here's the real low down - as much as I or anyone else on this forum knows about title, we aren't legal experts and if we were we don't have all the facts necessary to render an informed opinion.  

One concern I have with this company is that another real estate agent owns it.

Realize at the outset that real estate will involve all different types to service, maintain, repair, improve, insure, manage and eventually sell.  

I’ve been doing research and will soon speak to a real estate attorney, however I wanted to get advice from anyone who has had experience in this area?

There's been so much interest in real estate investing and the success stories on podcasts and in books - most of which were achieved over the last decade - give people the real estate "bug" and they often over pay either because they don't know how to run the numbers or because they're just so anxious to get in.

I personally believe in owning real estate in LLC's but the reasons are more for business planning than asset protection.
