How does one find out the address of a house if it's not posted on the mailbox, door, or anywhere else?

They drive around looking for FSBO signs, knock on doors, talk to the owners, take photos, check to see if the house is in a flood zone, pull comps from the Internet, get permit/tax/assessors info and more, and then send me a packet with all the information.

To improve the thermal efficiency of the dwelling, the following are required:a) Weatherstrip all doors and windows to reduce infiltration of air when existing weatherstripping is inadequate or nonexistent.b) Caulk or seal all openings, cracks or joints in the building envelope to reduce air infiltration. c) Insulate all openings in exterior walls where the cavity has been exposed as a result of the rehabilitation.

In fact there was a door that a previous tenant had punched a whole through that did not get fixed the entire time we were there (1 year).

So I have to qualify the tips, tricks, advice I get from this site and decide if it is something I would do or not.

We sent comps of garage apartments in the area, small cottages etc. but that one bedroom was a killer.

This month's goals will be to plant flowers in our front yard rock bed (along with drip sprinklers), install a storm door, and a retaining wall in the back yard.These seem ambitious but isn't that what goals try to accomplish?
