I have heard that it is actually a lot harder than watching videos and reading articles, depending on targeted areas.

Are there any recommendations for books, videos, podcasts, etc for someone that wants to get started in rental properties like we do? 

There are dozens of articles on this site and videos on YouTube. 

The pictures and video are all over the news of the garage filled with fireworks and the police confiscating them.We informed the property manager, and they said they would contact their legal team and get back to us.  

I've been watching videos and listening to podcasts about real estate for a few months and I'm looking at networking.Some of my hobbies include watching too much youtube, photography (looking to build a real estate photography portfolio as well), gaming, and longboarding.Ideally the goal is to begin house hacking within the next year, but I've got to figure out the details and college is my priority right now.

I have read about “driving for dollars”, watched YouTube videos, and researched.

I don't know about you but I can't get enough of those YouTube videos. 

Mainly, I have been listening to the BiggerPockets podcast, reading real estate investing books and watching YouTube videos.

Since then I've been reading, listening to podcasts, joining facebook groups and online forums, watching YouTube videos and everything else real estate investment related.

Depending on your strategies and tolerance for MASSIVE amounts of info, I'd recommend either the Intro to Tax Sales (class or video, massive amounts of info) or The Step by Step Tax Sale Investing (class or video, more focused info and explanation of how it relates to the specific strategies.)
