If you really want to spruce it up add flecks of paint in a complimentary color. 

If the unit has a dirty condenser coil it can mask a low freon issue.My best advice is to find a company who stands behind their work. mistakes happen, and when they do, the next call out should be warranty if within 30 days.  

Over the years I've tiled a number of counter tops & my number one tip is to use a darker colored grout.

They take buckets of disposed paint, filter them and mix them by color and adjust any of the mixture to make it uniform and then sell them as recycled gallons of paint.

@Rob Bianco an easy way to check the toilet is to add food coloring to the tank when it's full and hasn't been flushed in the last few minutes.
