I attended a speech today by a local economist who was making an interesting case for the strength of Solano County.

@Ryan D.  30k would be a great way to help buy your multifamily while your wife attends school. 

Then read/listen to everything you can. second, attend a local real-estate investing club meeting if one exists in your area.

I have heard lots of really positive news from BP groups formed in other cities, and I think attending some of the meet ups would be a huge benefit.

Thank you for the input, I plan to attend the auction just as an observer to see what goes on and possibly do some networking while I am there.

I haven't been able to attend the ICOR meeting but I've been to several of the Pine Financial meeting and really enjoy them.
