I met someone who is definitely motivated to sell (got a job in Houston but owned a home near San Antonio and is currently paying 2 mortgages which he told me he couldn't afford to keep doing) but I don't know any investors in that area to even shop the deal to.

i do need your opinions for property investment.location seems to be important, i found this condo close to shopping mall and grocery store and university. but what if you find out that the seller's price seems to be beyond market value and the owner is just stubborn would you still consider buying it?

but if it still works then amortize it over the 30 years you may live there and see how much a month that is.. probably 10 bucks or so and ask yourself will I kill it for the price of two starbucks fancy coffees a month.. :)Or you can call the bluff do nothing wholesaler may not be able to close.. then what.. would you have access to simply go direct to the seller..

When you are shopping for areas, be sure to figure out what base you be be stationed on first so you can avoid taking a tunnel to and from work if at all possible.
