@Bryan KThey handed out videos with Robert K explaining why you should be financially educated and how the financial world is going to end the way we know it and you better be ready but with all this doom but now I see he never once said you should go educate yourself through Rich Dad education.

The hollowing out of the rust belt might be a way to describe it.Much of upstate and western NY is the same.

Bryan - good point about improved tenant quality...I was so focused on just increasing rent down the road.  

@Bryan H., my buddies have been in the Ypsilanti market since we graduated from high school (30 years ago).

Pittsburgh is kind of under the radar and a lot of people think it's still some rust belt city that hasn't recovered from the steel industry leaving , but they are very diversified now with medical , education and other industries these days , their unemployment rate was also pretty low during the recession .

I know that once I find a property, i have to run the numbers to make sure it is worth it, but was just unsure about which to purchase.Also, if anyone knows of a good REA that knows about investment properties in the Bryan/College Station area, please let me know.Thanks.
