oddly enough, 7 people I've talked to in the industry in one way or another have never heard of wholesaling. 

your undercapitalized and insufficient income to really get going in the industry as an investor.my suggestion would be to take your real estate licensing exam.. go to work for a resi or commercial broker on their team.. and you can do this part time..

To get taken seriously in any industry and not look like a noob or a boob, you have to learn that industry's lingo.

My professional background/career is in Marketing so Im not all that experienced myself but I started in the BP library and have since learned so much about different aspects, strategies, and about the real estate industry in general.

My personal market center offers classes daily on varying topics and we have speakers in from all sorts of industries all the time.

Find a fixer upper, duplex etc.Step 4 - Try to find ways you can be valuable to people in the real estate industry.
