It's either the market sucks here, and so no one in their right mind is going to be renting out homes in this tiny insignificant place.

I do believe that quantity means making money.  

My goal is to spend all my hard earned money on a run-down inhabitable structure on a tiny piece of land with hopes of breaking even on rents and the ability of living free...which you guys often refer to as REI :)I hope to meet wonderful inspiring people and learn a thing or two along the way!

However, my initial inclination is to keep it small with quality and not large with quantity.  

I'd pull back a little earth from the foundation--make a tiny trench kind of thing, and sprinkle DE liberally all around the foundation.

I still have the bedroom bathroom and a tiny den room with a sliding glass door which is my only way to get in and out and I cannot lock the door to secure my belongings. 

And that the author recommended saying something like RENT = 1300EARLY PAYMENT DISCOUNT = 300EARLY PAYMENT MEANS 15 DAYS before rent is due.There for, if the tenant routinely pays the rent 15 days prior to its due date, then they get a discount ....The other upsides are that the SECURITY DEPOSIT and LAST MONTHS rents quantity is higher.Is anyone doing this?

If your car insurance decides not to pay out on a claim, because of the tiny type, it comes out of your pocket.

All the responses above are very valid. be careful, build a good team and focus on quality verse quantity

I'd be perfectly content with quality cash returns over a larger quantity of mediocrity.If I wanted to own a hotel, this path would be different.That being said, keep posting, I learn a TON from your insightful posts!
