The property is beautiful 4/bed 2.5/bath, an Arizona Room, with a pool.

The property was originally 2 bed 1.5 bath, we converted it to 4 bed 1.5 bath, finished the basement to add a pool table and mini bar, and updated kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, roofing and siding etc.Would you guys book a trip away at the property?

Possible issues:Minor amount of chipping paint in a bedroom and some exterior siding - in a pre 78 house Few small holes in the walls Uncovered electrical breaker in bedroom detached garage may need new roof Swimming pool has no cover or fence, and back yard fence is broken.

Hey @Denise Frazier, I'd second what Jeremy said above . . . fish from the contractor pool in Knoxville (I sure hope they won't refuse to work there), or clean it up and wholetail it (wholesaling, but to a retail end user via the MLS usually). 

We have rented this place a little over 4 years, the owner wants to sell it, but is willing to let us, as good tenants, pick it up for what is owed on the mortgage. 3/2 with a pool, garage, shed.

I've also known other investors to do fairly well on Airbnb w/ 4-6 BR houses w/ pools all the way out in eastern metro.

Big changes in soil moisture will absolutely cause movement.That said, I love buying properties with foundation issues; it limits the buyer pool drastically.Caveat, if the property has cast iron drain pipe, make sure you add into the contract that the house must be able to pass a hydrostatic test (a good idea even if there was no prior foundation repairs).
