As far as commercial real estate that's surely something I will have interest in down the road but not until I'm far more knowledgeable and experienced.

Some alternatives you could consider are Mid Term Rentals (nurses/insurance stays), Short Term Rentals, or a Rent by the Room strategy.

I need to know what to do to set us up for success and get launched once we close in 30 days.Also wondering how best to maintain the past guests who have stayed at the cabin (there are tons of nearly 5 star reviews, that I doubt I can transfer to us- or can we?)

Any knowledge would be great.

I have a bunch of long-term rentals on the north / west side of town.When I visit Jacksonville, I normally like to stay in one of two places - Baymeadows / Southpointor San MarcoBoth areas are safe in my opinion with a good amount of eating / night options.

I know it is tempting as the agent to jump on some good deals and market it to make some extra but for long term, it is best to stay away from wholesaling in MD.
