If a new lender has aggressive enough terms, it might make sense to move the loan and pay the additional closing costs.A lender will typically not call the note unless there is some sort of default, but if you're concerned about that, ask the specific lender you're working with to outline what scenarios they might call the note under.If you're talking about a residential property held under your personal name, you might be better served to look for a Fannie/Freddie product that has a 20-30 year fixed option.
