All new kitchen, baths, roof etc. as we turn a 3/1 ( bedroom, 1 bath) into a 4/2.

Whether its tiling in the shower, vanity tops, kitchen backsplash - just something that stands out in their minds.I love opening up walls.

I'm wondering what others prefer to do in regards to the location of the stove within the kitchen?  

Question here is I have a load bearing wall I want to put an opening in it from the kitchen to the living room.

Got a brand new upstairs, electrical, and kitchen out of the deal so it all worked out.But thats kind of the story I think of when I hear people say they don't want calls at 2am.

It has new siding, carpet, window, and the kitchen is practically new.

Lights, appliances, and furnace all worked, good neutral paint, tile on first floor, carpet upstairs; couldn't test the plumbing since the water is turned off. 

Does anyone have any recommendations on where to buy new/scratch&dent appliances in DFW?

@Nick @Kyle - pricing materials alone in home depot / lowes are average on 3,000 - 4,000, it all depends how upscale I want to make it look.I looked at the option of reglazing bathtub, and just update the flooring, vanity and toilet to save on overall labor and material cost so that is probably still an option.I will live in the property for maybe 3-5 years and when I decide to rent or resale, I know how important a nice bathroom and kitchen are towards resale value.

I had some extra appliances and paint etc to clean it up, and currently have it rented out.
