How is the best way to do this with section 8 tenant?

Certainly we can't be blatantly ignorant of the building code, but no reasonable person would be expected to know that a city approved construction is incorrect.What section of the code are you referencing?

The property is currently 3 beds 1.5 baths and is on section 8.
