I know the mental dilemma and challenges of it.

My previous job was a Registered Nurse but after losing my 21-year old daughter to a senseless act of gun violence on August 3, 2015, I could no longer handle the mental and emotional demands of nursing.

His Fiance either knows and doesn't care, doesn't know and won't believe you, or he isn't mentally ill and has some other agenda.

You can create more space mentally where this spece appears to slow down giving you more time to choose a response.

If I adopted that mentality, I would just leave the investing space as a whole.But again, thanks a lot for your input man because everything is something to consider! 

Having a mentality of "always learning" (never failure) is always going to to get you to success sooner rather than later. 

I'm pretty done with startups and tech-related work because it's just been so extremely demanding of my time, energy and mental health.

If everything needs to go perfectly for the deal to make sense, you've got to create a matrix of paperwork and hope your contracts are really bulletproof, and pray the loan never gets called and nothing ever goes wrong and do mental gymnastics to justify it, then it's not a deal IMO. 

Looking at it the home prices in 2018-2020 median prices floated at or below 400k then covid jumped up to close to 600k - most likely my guess is due to work from home mentality.
