Tonight I am going to hand my deposit to the wholesaler and cross my fingers.

I had coffee with a developer this morning who is LEED certified, green, etc. and who quipped that "Austin is the most conservative liberal town in the country."

We are so green...

Hey everyone, I'm currently in the process of refinancing a paid off rental property and was wondering if anyone had suggestions on how to check out the legitimacy of a lender besides cross checking their broker license number?

I've used Redfin and findcompsnow.com as a cross check.  

Well, for 5 years I said I don't network with members, but, this past couple weeks I have discussed a very limited business arrangement with one member, if that pans out, I'd have to say it was due to participation here or we would not have crossed paths.
