@Nicholas Williams In many areas, the majority of condos are not eligible for fha, and many not eligible for conventional financing, due to investor owned percentages, reserves, renewal of fha certification, etc.

@Travis ThorntonYou should check with your insurance professional and possibly have a lawyer review all of your policies.With that being said your property management agreements should state that all property owners add you as an additional insured to each property confirmed through a certificate of insurance (COI).

You are looking for a "Waiver of Subrogation" naming you as insured on his ACORD certificate (this would reflect his WC, GL, Umbrella, and etc), if it is real, then you should be off the lawsuit, if he made it up, then he is guilty of perjury.
