I have a modest, newer modular home that i was unable to sell within about 6 or so months, so, i decided to rent so that i could have some money to pay the mortage.Recently, the renters, after about 2-3 yrs have had their first problem, they burned the shed down.

If there was a fire in her unit, because of all the fuel, it would burn very hot and quickly, endangering everyone in the building and creating more deadly smoke than would be normal in such a situation.

Do you think 6-8 months is adequate development time for a property, in existing neighborhood but with no utilities and requiring some special engineering because layout of the lot?

For instance, I'm a structural engineer, I couldn't set up shop signing and sealing structural plans under an LLC under any circumstances in Virginia.

Rather than just the local building departments, you can get drawn into dealing with the Army Corp of Engineers, or the EPA, costing you valuable time and money.

Not only that, but here it requires engineered plans ($$$).
