Hearing how to structure things financially, how they achieved financed, chose and engage with a PM, etc. is different than actually doing it.

I engaged my law firm because the agent was rogue and I needed help.

However, the managers have aligned interests with me - they make their money alongside me, not from me, the investor, and are therefore highly motivated to manage the properties efficiently and effectively.  

Don't bother, the more we engage these folks the more SEO value their posts and names are gaining.

@Devin Mann, that's really something for you to decide how you want to engage these partners.

Take THOSE funds out, season them in a personal savings account - I'm thinking 90 days, minimum, but possibly longer - THEN see what you can do with those funds.In the meantime - while the money is "seasoning" - learn how to attract and engage private lenders.

You might consider attending a meeting of the Central Arkansas Real Estate Investors Association to see whether you might still be able to find ways to earn money in real estate without violating criminal prohibitions against engaging in unlicensed real estate activity.Best of luck in your new adventures.   

I'm hoping that by gaining the right skills and knowledge i will also be able to network and work alongside other like minded individuals which could also further my knowledge and point me in the right direction. 

I had always thought it would make sense to be open to the idea of managing other people's properties along side my own to increase my monthly cash flow.

I feel like most of those things are overrated though, and if I were to start off running my own brokerage the amount of work would be about the same or more.I would like to move into property management as well and my current brokerage doesn't support that, so I might end up establishing a cloud brokerage myself in about a year that allows other agents to engage in property management activities in CA.
