It’s like the battle between cigarettes and E-Cigarettes, the news just destroyed one company due to their exposure and great marketing, but the rest are just cowering behind the “Big guy”.

I stash the rest away in the a high yield savings account.

But they have been with me for many years and will be able to pay off the rest over time.

@Sai T.Correction: if the rent is $1000 they want to pay a certain amount on the 1st & the rest two weeks later.

But basically you charge the $20 and eat the rest.  

Would "I am interested in buying a home like yours that I can put a little rehab and updating into and keep as part of the community" and then work the rest of your close in there sound better?   

Justin, Both of any of the following scenarios could have happened:1- There was a long term leak under the slab (either clean water or sewer leak, or both) that have cause the foundation to settle, and thus cause even more damage to the rest of the pipe lines.2- The settlement of the foundation due to non-leak reasons (such as bad soil mechanics) might have caused the pipes to break or crack.3- Lifting the foundation causing the pipes crack.4- Combination of all aboveI have had this property for a few weeks, so it has been out of my control.The lowest quotes I have got for fully replacing the sewer line and clean water line is about $13.5K for a 1800 SF house.My deductible is about $2500 if the insurance would cover it.

the property is just the temporary resting place for it.
