I just received this email from Airbnb and wanted to share just in case anyone missed it:

Register on MassTaxConnect as soon as possible

Hosts with listings in Massachusetts are now required to register their listings with the Massachusetts Department of Revenue and display a registration number on their listing page. You now have until December 1, 2019 to register. While this is an updated deadline from what’s been communicated out in the past, this date is now final and it’s important to get registered as soon as possible to meet the deadline. Registration is free and only takes a few minutes to complete.

How to register

Step 1: Register your listing on MassTaxConnect. You’ll need to create a profile and then register as an operator if you own your listings or if you manage listings for others. You’ll receive your registration number via email the next day.

Step 2: Add your Department of Revenue registration number to Airbnb–we’ll let you know when this feature becomes available. We recommend getting started with step 1 so you’re all set to add your number when it’s ready.
