My mother is a Realtor in West Michigan along with her Husband, my Step Dad, and they have been doing that for about 20 years now, so I personally feel my Mom was a big reason why I have such a passion for property, and why I love real estate so much. 

I am not a fan for hiring management companies because there are enough cons about them to write a small book.

I was planning on getting a house to rent and use the BRRRR strategy so start my real passion in real estate.

I have a passion for REI and it is very gratifying to see people succeed and grow their portfolio and to think back to when I first met them to speak about maybe buying their first one...

I'm also a big fan of the Wholesaling Inc podcasts. 

I am always a fan of BRRRR.

Mark,I am not a fan of loans unless you need to get one. 

Most properties are going to need paint and flooring and often times things like light fixtures, ceiling fans and so forth need repair.

I'd be willing to do legwork, tedious activities for the knowledge and experience- continue attending REI events, seminarsObstacles:- very little, to no savings- underwater in home; currently refinancing to MUCH better terms/ costsIn my favor:- decent size 401k- passion to succeed/ fight through hurdles- consistent regular career.
