I joined the Bigger Pockets forum after listening to the podcast and was especially inspired by the episode featuring Ashley Hamilton from Detroit, Michigan (Hi, Ashley!!) 

It has a lot of features and so far it seems the people here are great.

Personally I have spent a lot of time busilding my twitter followers and have not seen a huge amount of direct business.I like to use Twitter as a news source and to research things I am interested in by using the search feature.

These "reality" shows, such as Flip This House and Property Ladder are more interested in featuring bumbling idiots than intelligent successful people that you can really learn something from.

Doesn't have the fixed asset tracking feature found on the desktop version.

Having the secondary exit strategy is crucial and you may use that to weigh in on your decision to purchase one property over another (ease of retail exit to owner occupant buyer)

Hoas that include utilities, front door men, and extravagant facilities/pools/excercise rooms are the last thing owner landlords want, as it just greatly drives the cost of the HOA up, Cali and Florida seem to set the standard for amazingly high HOA cost and extravagant features provided by the HOA

Most of the questions a new investor will have are already answered there (use the search feature to find specific topics).

I like the feature, but I can see where it can get out of hand.

Zillow has this feature.
