So stop denigrating a product that has plethora of advantages and educate yourself to understand it.1 - I am not a mortgage broker, I am a direct lender2 - Almost all financial advisors are compensated either by flat fees/hourly fees or as a percentage of assets under management - exactly because if they were paid commission their recommendations WOULD be bias3- people contact real estate brokers already knowing they want to purchase property and how much they can/will spend.

I know in mine the upstairs tenant would text the downstairs tenant that he was chilly and for her to max out the thermostat setting so he’d be comfortable .. as much as I hate that type of setup it still can make money if you offset the rents to compensate
