Total existing-home sales were down 4.3% from February to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 4.19 million in March.

The 100sqft addition would be including two stories, so 200sqft total at ~460$/sqft.

Would be nice to also have the ability to rent it out short term (AirBNB, etc) but this isn't totally necessary. 

Are you demo'ing only a free standing building? 

I am doing a total update rehab for myself in the same neighborhood , its not done yet , but the market in this area is hot and I told my wife we will move in whether its done or not , who knows how long it will last .
