No Inventory for sale under $700K ( only 3 )
I live in Maryland in 21146 zip code . Right now there are only 3 houses for sale under $700K and nothing below $500K . Basically no inventory . Its always been a desired area . I posted on 2 local community groups that I will be selling my house in the next month or so . I have had 30 people want to see it . I have shown it to 4 so far and have 2 offers . I am telling everyone to bring their highest and best first time out . I never would have imagined this much activity from 2 posts on a group in facebook with no pictures . I have been showing it in the evenings after work , not staged ( I am living there still ) And the weekend is booked .
I think I offended some agents , when I told them I am not interested in them listing the house . I know I pissed off the 2 buyers agents that wanted 3 % for bringing a buyer when I told them lets pretend its July and since you work for the buyer any payment you get is between you and them .
I am doing a total update rehab for myself in the same neighborhood , its not done yet , but the market in this area is hot and I told my wife we will move in whether its done or not , who knows how long it will last .
