Unless you have a good contractor that knows how fix major issues for pennies on the dollar, the level of work that would go into this property wouldn’t be supported by the comps…or the neighborhood.Dave Oh come on, Dave, live a little, sink $150K to fix up the Blair Witch Project in Homewood East and people will come!

Based on the ceiling there it looks like something similar may be happening with the second floor bathtub too.This house is a decent deal, but worried that this may turn into a money sink if the tub is removed and mold is found in the walls.

I'm guessing you have a boiler that sends hot water to the radiators and also heats the domestic water (sinks and showers)?
