We are still considering our plan of action and have contributed to a law suit that is fighting it. 

I always encourage immediate action.

One for each month's dollars you're taking out, and next to it a running total of it.3 - Get an estimate of the cost to replace a roof, a furnace, a driveway, a new kitchen, and anything else you would be using this money for.4 - Look down the second column (the cumulative number) and find out how long it would take to have saved enough in this fund to pay for, let's ay, a roof replacement.5 - Then, think about what would happen if during this waiting period, you had a vacancy, or a different/added cost.6 - Now ask yourself, "is the act of saving this money monthly a functional action, or an illusion"?

I know that this means to drop the excuses of how you can't or aren't able to reach your goal, to commit to an actionable plan, to understand your intrinsic and extrinsic reasons why, and to focus on following through on the objective- even though it will be uncomfortable. 

If caught in the act, you can serve them with notice which may be enough to discourage the actions moving forward, however if they want to take you up on that and ride it out, it won't be done before the lease is up. 

Nothing else matters unless you commit to take action. 

We also timed debt markets well - sometimes the stars align - where experience and preparation meet with taking action.

You need a plan of action before closing.

This internal conflict has reached the point of action paralysis.
