I love being outside, taking advantage of living near the ocean by surfing whenever I can, and learning about this new world of real estate. 

Unfortunately, I am just extremely unhappy with the atmosphere I've been in since joining the banking world. 

Maybe I’m misunderstanding this - .. they knew this fella was a low life grifter and yet due to an old eviction they did yet still took him in under the lease .

A few things I asked reading your post is how old is the property?

The flooring upstairs is rough, old carpet and laminate flooring.
