for my family they were all able to mentally start moving on and for my father he is still emotionally tied to the business but it was the best thing for him as it was a huge drain on him and his resources.

He has mental health challenges, so let it go longer than normal before auctioning his items off.

Our mentallity was if they accept our offer then it would be worth it for us to do the deal, and if they did not accept our offer well then we should not be trying to do a deal in this area anyways- nothing gained, nothing lost.

It can be exhausting to start alone (I tried it).Otherwise, hopefully we'll be seeing you often!

I am in a good place mentally, it is the rest that is the challenge up front. 

Working a regular job equals safety and responsibility -- Investing in Real Estate equals high risk and a irresponsible gambler's mentality.  

That is huge in this industry of "Dog-Eat-Dog" mentality.
