I think they should do what the divorce agreement stipulates and stop trying to play games.

I am a lazy landlord (though a hard-working machine in general ;) ) because I have another full-time job already and several side items going all the time.

[Side Note] Some mobile home parks may not be happy with you moving homes out of their park but frankly it's a part of the game and its the mobile homeowners right to sell the mobile home to whomever they want.

Last time I saw this I was in Greece in 2007, learning the flip game in an environment so out of whack that after the bottom fell out of the giant Ponzi scheme that the country had become, the Greeks were forced to admit the situation would take generations to fix.I'm not going to cry doom and gloom.

However if you can't find a house hack don't let that keep you out of the game. 

If a hot tub time machine brought me back to that age, knowing what I know now, what I would do would be:1)  In the very beginning I'd get the absolute cheapest housing possible, be it studio apartment, mobile home in a park, a bedroom somebody is renting out, whatever, and not worry if that makes friends and family laugh and worry about your life. 

@Trae Jones if are new to this game it would be wise to have a trusted contractor walk the property also.

This is very useful information, and I see what you mean about the excitement being in the long game and what a $10 difference can make between the two scenarios.

We are simply looking for a solid cashflow machine.
