Yes, it can be a little more nerve racking because unless you travel you can’t “see” the property, you can’t inspect it yourself, and you can’t go see your team (agent, contractor, etc).

He also was ok with us going FHA, since I am a contractor and our lender let us know it doesn’t matter who makes the repairs in the appraiser’s view.

Are you able to drive the bulldozer without a license?

I made it clear in an addendum I added to the lease that it was an unfinished basement and any and all improvements that they want to make or do make have to have prior written approval from me or my husband as well as permits and insured licensed contractors for electrical, plumbing, etc.
