As a hands on individual who lives at the outer edge of a major metropolitan area, I'm curious if investors from the "big city" who are looking for more affordable markets would find benefit in the assistance of a fellow investor native to the area (to help vet properties and/or act as a property manager).

You might be able in a better position than many others to either buy it from the estate or assist the estate in finding a viable way out of the foreclosure by a) buying it from the estate or b) arranging its sale to an investor (and hence earning something for the efforts).There seems to be some equity there to work with initially, assuming there aren't any other creditors with claims in the bk petition.

The millwork guy was over extended and could not take the job, so the GC had one of their guys do it, (but I think they still got the cabinets from the millwork guy and had them assembled at his shop-my guy thru the GC said he was assisting him with it since he was so backed up).
