Data like that is not data it is randomness.You can ONLY come up with those kind of numbers if you simply call 1M people and see how many people converted.

One option that has not been throuroughly discussed is to do a §1031 exchange for an investment property that you will convert to your primary residence after two years of rental use.. 

Purchase price: $63,000 Cash invested: $32,000 Sale price: $138,000 converted the garage into additional living space. added a new half bath. basically a new house with new roof, new kitchen and bath, new windows.

There are a handful of in-person (which have mostly converted to virtual) networking events where you can meet some other folks local to NH and get an idea of their business model.

Our inspector said that it was possibly a garage that was converted to a livable unit...there's a kitchen, brand new electrical panel, bathroom etc.

Some airlines even converted passenger flights into cargo operations.

Currently, contemplating about possibly converting our 2 car garage into an ADU to create cash flow.
