I plan on house hacking far as strategy and Im just looking forward to getting started.

I tend to ask them what they plan on using the proceeds of the sale for and if they have thought about being the bank and making that interest themselves instead of a bank.

I don't particularly care because it will give me a chance to go down and stay a few weeks and get some work and maintenance done but as I've said before if I needed to stay booked it would be a killer. 

It's wise to be careful about houses with big problems, but it sounds like you're already on the hunt for the perfect fixer-upper.Best of luck,Julio

Plan B is that if I'm unable to refi, I'll sell off my only SFR and then I can pay off over 60% of the credit card debt and then I'll try again to refi.

Since this is for 15 year life property or sooner, do you plan to hold the assets for that long or longer. 

Are you planning on holding these properties forever?
