You should also consult with your attorney on ways to minimize the risk of a Mechanics Lein going against the property (happens often if the General Contractor does not pay the subcontractors).

Have a really good landlord/tenant attorney on speed dial, strong lease agreement, train your tenants the rules and regulations and don’t bend the rules for anything !

Maybe this is one for the attorney, haha.

Hi Marty,I am not sure who the "best" real estate attorney in OKC might be, because there are unique pros and cons associated with most attorneys. 

I too look for opportunities to get all 4 of my kids involved in my projects all the way from the basements to the attics, the attorney to the title company.
